Rivo Raises $3.1 Million To Launch Autonomous Cash Management Platform

Rivo has launched publicly following its beta period and raised a $2.7 million seed round, bringing its total funding to $3.1 million. The financing was backed by South Park Commons, Wisdom Ventures, Script Capital, 645 Ventures, 20VC and angel investor and adviser Jag Duggal, the former Chief Product Officer of Nubank.

Rivo is developing an autonomous cash management platform that connects to customers’ existing bank accounts and monitors their cash flows in real time.

The platform identifies money that is not immediately needed and automatically moves those funds into higher-yielding U.S. Treasury securities through its banking partner, Jiko.

Rivo then returns the money to the customer’s bank account before upcoming bills and other expenses are due.

The company said customers do not need to switch banks, transfer funds manually or change how they manage recurring payments.

Rivo is targeting what it calls the “Inertia Tax,” referring to the difference between the low interest consumers often receive on checking account balances and the returns banks can generate from those deposits.

The company cited Federal Reserve data showing that U.S. households and nonprofit organizations held approximately $5.9 trillion in checkable deposits and currency at the end of the first quarter of 2026.

Rivo’s platform is designed to manage changes in payment schedules, unexpected charges, shared account balances and other circumstances that can make automated cash management more complicated.

Founder and CEO Ambrish Tyagi previously led AI initiatives at Cruise during the launch of its commercial robotaxi service in San Francisco and worked on applied AI at Amazon.

Rivo’s broader team includes professionals with experience at Personal Capital, Mint, Capital One, JPMorgan Chase, Microsoft and LinkedIn.

Rivo is a technology company rather than a bank. Banking services are provided by Jiko Bank, while Treasury investments and investment advisory services are provided by Jiko Securities.

Treasury securities held through Jiko Securities may receive Securities Investor Protection Corporation protection up to applicable limits, but the investments are not FDIC-insured, are not bank-guaranteed and may lose value.
