RMH Systems Acquires Systems In Motion To Build National Warehouse Automation Platform

RMH Systems has acquired Systems in Motion, a warehouse automation and material handling integrator, with financing provided by Yukon Partners. The transaction is RMH’s third add-on acquisition since the company partnered with Rotunda Capital Partners in February 2025.

The combination creates a national automation platform with capabilities spanning manufacturing, packaging and industrial scale systems through warehousing, distribution and e-commerce fulfillment. Financial terms of the acquisition and Yukon’s financing were not disclosed.

RMH provides automation, robotics, material handling, packaging and industrial scale solutions to customers across a range of industries. Founded in 1936, the company supports clients through engineering, equipment integration, installation and customized operational systems.

Systems in Motion adds warehouse automation expertise and a proprietary software platform to RMH’s existing manufacturing-oriented capabilities. The combined company will be able to address both the front end of a customer’s operations, where goods are manufactured or packaged, and the back end, where products are stored, sorted, distributed and prepared for delivery.

Warehouse automation can include conveyor systems, robotic equipment, automated storage and retrieval technology, sorting systems, controls and software that coordinates the movement of materials. Combining these capabilities with manufacturing automation can provide customers with a more integrated approach to designing and operating facilities.

The acquisition also expands RMH’s customer base and creates cross-selling opportunities across manufacturing, distribution and e-commerce operations. Customers may be able to use a single provider for projects that previously required several specialized integrators.

Yukon provides junior capital for middle-market private equity transactions, including acquisitions, buyouts, recapitalizations and growth strategies. Junior capital generally ranks behind senior debt in the repayment structure and can help finance acquisitions while reducing the amount of common equity required.

The firm typically invests up to $75 million per transaction and has managed more than $2.6 billion in commitments across five funds. Yukon operates from offices in Minneapolis, Boston and West Palm Beach.

Rotunda Capital Partners focuses on family- and founder-owned businesses in value-added distribution, asset-light logistics, and industrial and business services. The firm applies its Rotunda Performance System to strengthen strategy, processes, management systems and data infrastructure across its portfolio companies.
