Rokt: Sam Dozor Appointed CTO To Accelerate AI-Driven Ecommerce Platform

Rokt announced the appointment of Sam Dozor as Chief Technology Officer as the company expands its AI-driven ecommerce platform and deepens the integration of mParticle into its technology stack.

Dozor brings more than 13 years of experience building mParticle into one of the leading customer data platforms before its acquisition by Rokt in 2025. According to the company, mParticle now serves as the foundation for how Rokt clients activate customer data, deliver real-time decisions, and drive value from customer interactions across what Rokt calls the “Transaction Moment.”

The company said the appointment reflects its strategy of building a unified software platform as the broader industry shifts away from fragmented SaaS tools toward real-time AI-powered execution.

Rokt explained that combining mParticle’s customer identity and audience capabilities with the Rokt Brain and its ecommerce network enables brands to transform customer data into immediate, revenue-driving actions. The company believes businesses increasingly gain an advantage by acting on data instantly rather than relying on delayed analytics and execution cycles.

As CTO, Dozor will oversee engineering across the company, including platform infrastructure, developer experience, and security. His role will focus on accelerating the pace at which new capabilities are developed and deployed while ensuring the platform can continue scaling for global enterprise customers.

Rokt said the appointment comes as the company continues investing heavily in integration and decisioning infrastructure for clients at a time when many software companies are consolidating operations or reducing investment.

The company noted that its platform is expected to power more than 10 billion transactions in 2026 across thousands of ecommerce businesses worldwide. Rokt also said it generated more than $800 million in revenue in 2025.

The announcement follows a series of partnerships and acquisitions by the company, including deals involving PayPal, Fanatics, Ulta Beauty, Cineplex, Albertsons, Macy’s, Canal, mParticle, and Aftersell.

Founded in New York City, Rokt operates across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, providing AI-powered ecommerce infrastructure for brands including PayPal, Fanatics, Macy’s, Albertsons, and Uber.

KEY QUOTES:

“We are in the middle of the most significant transformation in how software is built in a generation. AI has collapsed the cost of experimentation and compressed innovation cycles from quarters to weeks, handing a structural advantage to the companies that adapt fastest. Sam’s mandate is to make Rokt the fastest-building, most technically excellent engineering organisation in our category.”

Bruce Buchanan, CEO, Rokt

“Rokt is building for where the industry is going, not where it’s been. Clients don’t win by having more data. They win by having the right data and using it faster and more intelligently. That’s the opportunity in front of us, and it’s what we’re focused on delivering for every client.”
