Ropes & Gray announced that Eliza Riffe Hollander has joined the firm as a finance partner in its private capital transactions practice, strengthening its special situations finance and private credit offerings. She is based in the firm’s New York office.

Hollander brings significant experience advising capital providers and other stakeholders on complex debt financings. Her arrival follows the recent addition of Rachel Strickland as Global Chair of Restructuring, along with restructuring partners Daniel Forman, Andrew Mordkoff, and Andrew Minear. Together, the expanded team enhances the firm’s ability to support clients in complex special situations, liability management, and restructuring matters requiring multidisciplinary expertise.

Hollander advises on a broad range of financing activities, including liability management transactions, syndicated and pro-rata financings, private credit, fund financings, and recapitalizations. She has particular experience in asset-based lending, junior capital, and unitranche financings. Her representative matters include complex corporate carve-outs, multi-billion-dollar investment-grade facilities, and financing transactions for major consumer brands.

The firm said the addition aligns with growing client demand for sophisticated capital solutions and credit opportunities strategies.
