Ropes & Gray added Ryan Dahan as a tax partner in New York, expanding the firm’s capabilities across private credit, capital solutions, investment funds, and financial restructurings.
Dahan advises credit-focused asset managers across the full lifecycle of their investment funds, including formation, portfolio transactions, and restructurings.
His transactional practice also covers private credit, capital solutions, and hybrid capital transactions.
Dahan advises investment managers and other capital providers on direct lending, structured and preferred equity investments, tailored capital solutions, distressed transactions, and special situations.
Ropes & Gray said these areas represent some of its fastest-growing sources of client demand.
The appointment gives the firm’s clients a dedicated tax partner with experience across the increasingly interconnected areas of private credit and restructuring.
