Rossen Law Firm Adds Veteran Trial And Appellate Attorney Shlomi Presser

Rossen Law Firm has added veteran criminal defense and appellate attorney Shlomi Presser to its South Florida legal team. Presser brings more than 20 years of experience representing clients in state and federal criminal cases, including misdemeanors, serious felony prosecutions, trials and appeals.

He began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in Broward County before establishing his own criminal defense practice, which he operated for nearly two decades.

Presser has tried cases through verdict and handled appeals challenging criminal convictions and sentences.

He is licensed to practice in Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He also represents Spanish-speaking clients throughout South Florida.

Rossen Law Firm said the addition will expand its ability to represent clients continuously from the initial stages of a criminal case through trial and any subsequent appeal.

Many criminal defense practices focus primarily on trial-level representation and refer appellate matters to outside attorneys. Presser’s experience gives Rossen Law Firm additional in-house capabilities when a client seeks to challenge a legal ruling, conviction or sentence.

Presser said joining Rossen will allow him to focus more closely on representing clients without the administrative responsibilities involved in operating an independent law practice.

The appointment comes as Rossen Law Firm expands its team and services across Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.

The firm is also preparing to open a new headquarters in Boca Raton.

Rossen Law Firm represents clients in matters involving driving under the influence, federal offenses, drug charges, domestic violence, theft, probation violations and other criminal allegations.

The firm was founded by Adam Rossen, a former prosecutor who transitioned into criminal defense work.
