Roundtable and RYVYL announced that Aly Madhavji, Managing Partner of Blockchain Founders Fund, a blockchain investor, will become Chief Financial Officer of the soon-to-be merged entity as the companies move toward a NASDAQ listing. Madhavji will guide the merger integration and connect the combined company with traditional and blockchain investment communities. Current RYVYL CFO George Oliva will transition to Chief Accounting Officer after the merger is complete.

Madhavji brings experience investing in more than 200 blockchain infrastructure companies across global markets and maintains relationships with over 500 co-investors worldwide. Based in Singapore, he holds multiple financial credentials, including Chartered Accountant, CPA, CMA, and CIM designations. His academic background includes a Master’s in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University, an MBA from INSEAD, where he was a Blockchain Fellow, and a BA in Commerce with Distinction from the University of Toronto, where he serves on the Governing Council. He has served on the board of Soluna Holdings and is an author, speaker, and industry analyst with media presence, including the Amazon Prime Video series Crypto Knights.

Roundtable’s leadership team includes CEO James Heckman, blockchain pioneer and Chief Product Architect Eyal Hertzog, and COO Bill Sornsin. Hertzog previously architected the automated market-making and liquidity pool model used across decentralized finance and founded Bancor. He also co-founded the social video platform MetaCafe. Heckman has built and scaled multiple digital media companies and platforms, including Arena Group, Rivals.com, Scout.com, and 5to1.com, and held senior roles at Yahoo, Google, and News Corp.

Roundtable operates a Web3-based enterprise media distribution and monetization platform offering decentralized payments, real-time revenue reporting, and on-chain audience and data ownership for journalists and publishers. RYVYL provides digital payment processing solutions and turnkey financial products.

Upon closing of the merger, the combined company will be renamed RTB Digital, Inc., doing business as Roundtable. James Heckman will serve as CEO and Walton Comer will become Chairman, leading a seven-member board. Aly Madhavji will serve as CFO of the merged company and George Oliva will serve as Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. One RYVYL independent director, Brett Moyer, will remain, while the other RYVYL directors will step down. The merger is subject to shareholder approval and regulatory review.

KEY QUOTES:

“In over 30 years of financing and operating technology companies, I’ve not met someone with more intensity and thoroughness as a board member and investor, which is consistent with his technical and financial acumen. His contribution has been so impressive, we invited him to join this once in a lifetime opportunity to transform an entire industry. Aly has the unique ability to translate the vision of our revolutionary platform to both traditional and blockchain focused investment communities.”

James Heckman, Chief Executive Officer, Roundtable

“I’m joining Roundtable as CFO because Roundtable has turned the media industry’s long-aspired Web3 vision into practical reality. The RYVYL merger brings bank grade payments and public market discipline; our platform gives publishers what they’ve wanted for years: real-time revenue, transparent reporting, and control of their data, audiences, and IP, only possible with Web3. After diligencing and investing in hundreds of blockchain infrastructure teams, this is the one that stands apart; and why Blockchain Founders Fund made Roundtable our largest investment, and so I’m stepping in to lead our NASDAQ journey and align Roundtable with both traditional and Crypto focused investors.”
