Royal London Asset Management CEO Hans Georgeson To Step Down And Dan Cazeaux Named As Interim CEO

Royal London Asset Management CEO Hans Georgeson is stepping down after five years leading the investment manager, with Royal London Group CFO Dan Cazeaux taking over on an interim basis.

Georgeson disclosed the leadership change in a LinkedIn post, saying he had decided to leave Royal London Asset Management and pursue something new after a five-year tenure.

He said Cazeaux knows the business well and will provide continuity during the transition.

Cazeaux currently serves as Group Chief Financial Officer of Royal London and will assume interim leadership of Royal London Asset Management.

Georgeson indicated that he plans to take several months away before returning to the industry in January, suggesting another professional role or venture is planned after the break.

In comments on the announcement, Cazeaux credited Georgeson’s leadership over the last five years and said RLAM had developed into a stronger business and brand during his tenure.

KEY QUOTE:

“After five wonderful years at Royal London Asset Management, I have decided to hang up my boots and try something new.

I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together and grateful to all the clients and investors who have supported the business – the culture and colleagues here really are unique and mutuality gives a totally different meaning to customer focus.

I am delighted that Dan Cazeaux, Royal London Group CFO, is taking over on an interim basis – he knows the business well and will provide continuity and reassurance.

Whilst there is inevitably some sadness at leaving good friends and colleagues behind, it opens a new chapter for RLAM and I am sure the business will go from strength to strength.

I will be in the garden for a few months but back in the game from January so watch this space !”
