Rubrik announced plans to invest more than £375 million (approximately $500 million) in the UK over the next five years while naming London as its Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) headquarters. The investment underscores the UK’s growing importance to Rubrik’s global business and supports the company’s continued expansion across the region.
The investment will fund additional hiring across sales, marketing, and customer support while strengthening Rubrik’s presence in one of its fastest-growing markets. The company said the move will also help it better serve customers across EMEA by supporting European data sovereignty initiatives, cyber resilience, and enterprise AI adoption.
Rubrik’s UK business recorded a strong first quarter, highlighted by customer growth across enterprise and public-sector organizations. New customers include Fortegra Financial Corporation, Harbour Energy, Manchester City Council, and the Scottish Government.
The company now serves approximately 2,000 customers across EMEA, with nearly half using three or more Rubrik products. By establishing London as its regional headquarters, Rubrik aims to expand its operations, tap into the UK’s technology talent pool, and better support its growing customer base.
Rubrik also unveiled plans for a new UK office featuring collaborative workspaces, an Executive Briefing Centre for customer and partner engagements, and amenities including an indoor park, wellness studio, café, and rooftop bar.
The announcement follows Rubrik’s July 8 launch of Rubrik Security Cloud on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, enabling public-sector organizations and highly regulated enterprises across the European Union to deploy cloud-native cyber resilience solutions while meeting sovereign data requirements.
