Rule42 Acquires 64 Analytics To Expand Transfer Portal Platform

Rule42 Sports acquired 64 Analytics, adding college baseball and softball transfer portal data and player evaluation capabilities to its athlete discovery platform.

64 Analytics provides NCAA transfer portal intelligence and real-time player rankings for college baseball and softball.

As part of the acquisition, founder Jason Ratcliff is joining Rule42 as Director of Amateur Baseball Analytics.

Rule42 plans to integrate 64 Analytics’ collegiate player data directly into its tools for coaches and talent evaluators.

The combined platform is designed to help programs identify, compare, and recruit athletes available through the transfer portal.

Transfer activity has become an increasingly important element of roster construction across college athletics.

Rule42 is building technology to modernize athlete discovery and reduce reliance on personal networks or traditional scouting resources.

The integration of 64 Analytics will add transfer portal rankings and collegiate datasets to Rule42’s broader athlete discovery platform.

Rule42 said the acquisition supports its longer-term goal of connecting athletes and programs based more directly on performance and ability.

KEY QUOTES:

“Transfer portal talent management is essential for building winning programs in college athletics.”

“64 Analytics has set the standard for portal analytics in baseball and softball and bringing that expertise into Rule42 will make it easier for the right athletes and programs to find each other.”

“This is another step toward our larger goal of modernizing how amateur athletes are discovered, so that opportunity follows ability rather than resources or connections.”
