There are rumors that Google subsidiary Fitbit will be releasing the Fitbit Charge 4 later this year. According to German tech site Winfuture via Android Community, the Fitbit Charge 4 may have GPS, NFC, and sleep tracking features. Here is a video that Winfuture published about the rumored device:

The GPS module means that the Fitbit Charge 4 could be used for navigation without having to rely on a link to a smartphone. This will make it easier for those of you who want to leave your smartphone at home while going on jogs or bike rides.

But having the GPS activated will likely have an impact on battery life. The Fitbit Charge 4 may have just 5 hours of battery life while using the GPS tracking feature. Otherwise, the Fitbit Charge 4 is expected to support up to 7 days.

The Fitbit Charge 4 will likely have an OLED display, an IPX8 rating, and 5ATM. Plus it is expected to have Spotify integration while connected to a smartphone and sleep tracking with REM. Plus it may have Pulse Zones and menstrual cycle tracking.

The Fitbit Charge 3 was released back in October 2018 at a retail price of $149.95. So I’m guessing that the Fitbit Charge 4 will be released in October 2020 at the same price.
