Runable Raises $21 Million Series A As AI Agent Hits $2 Million ARR In 3 Weeks And 1.5 Million Users

Runable has raised $21 million in Series A funding as its AI agent platform expands rapidly among small businesses looking to automate not only software creation, but also customer acquisition, marketing and day-to-day operations. Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners co-led the round, with continued participation from Together Fund and Array VC.

The financing follows a rapid commercial launch in which Runable said it went from zero to $2 million in annual recurring revenue within three weeks.

The company has also reached approximately 1.5 million users with a team of just 15 people.

Runable is building a single AI agent designed to help entrepreneurs build, operate and grow businesses while maintaining shared context and memory across different tasks.

The platform can create and deploy websites, mobile applications and internal apps as well as pitch decks, market research, prospect lists and marketing videos.

Its software development capabilities include databases, authentication, payments and deployment infrastructure.

But Runable is positioning itself beyond the increasingly crowded market for AI-powered application builders.

Once a business is operating, the platform can help manage marketing and customer acquisition activities across multiple channels.

Runable can run paid campaigns across ChatGPT Ads, Meta, Google, LinkedIn and TikTok.

The agent can also create and schedule social media content, conduct cold-email campaigns, send direct messages and make voice calls through a real phone number.

Other capabilities include competitor monitoring, brand sentiment analysis, search engine optimization, answer engine optimization and customer support.

Runable’s founders believe the largest remaining opportunity in AI for small businesses lies in automating the work that happens after a product or website has been created.

Its users are primarily small-business owners operating teams of approximately two people across businesses such as agencies, consulting firms and cleaning companies.

The platform has gained users across markets including the U.S., U.K., Japan and Brazil.

Runable plans to use the Series A funding to deepen its growth and customer acquisition capabilities.

That includes adding additional marketing channels, improving campaign measurement and enabling the AI agent to identify problems with campaigns and initiate corrective actions independently.

The company will also expand Runable Academy, a free educational program designed to teach entrepreneurs how to build and grow their businesses.

Runable also plans to hire across engineering, machine learning, product, growth and customer support.

The company was founded in 2025 by Umesh Kumar and Saksham Sarda.

Kumar previously co-founded and sold education technology startup SkoolStream.

Sarda began coding at age 12 and later worked on decentralized payment protocols beginning at age 18.

Runable’s long-term thesis is that AI can give very small businesses access to operational capabilities that previously required substantially larger teams and budgets.

KEY QUOTES:

“Building software stopped being the hard part. Nobody starts a business because they want a landing page. They start it because they want customers and revenue. Software creation got automated. Everything after it didn’t. That’s what Runable is for.”

“There are millions of small businesses outgunned by companies with bigger teams and bigger budgets. Not better ideas. We think that’s a tooling problem, and we think it’s solvable.”

Umesh Kumar, Co-Founder And CEO Of Runable

“AI made starting a business nearly free. Running one is still the expensive part, and that is the gap Runable closes, with an agent that not only helps in building your website but actually helps in getting your customers and retaining them, within a budget the owner sets. It gives a two person business the leverage of a much larger team.”

Sai Araveti, Investment Advisor To Susquehanna Venture Capital

“Most AI tools stop at output. Businesses need outcomes: customers, revenue, cash in the bank. That’s what Runable’s general purpose autonomous AI agent does: not just automate software creation but build, run and grow a business.”

Jishnu Bhattacharjee, Partner At Nexus Venture Partners

“Durable value in AI will be created by helping users actually run their business, rather than just creating software. 95% of that revolves around customers, revenues and operations, which is exactly what Runable powers. We backed Umesh and Saksham at the idea stage and have doubled down within 12 months because they’ve proven this, with thousands of users who run their business on Runable.”

Shubham Gupta, Co-Founder And General Partner Of Together Fund
