Rush Street Interactive’s Latin American business delivered substantial growth during the second quarter of 2026, as the region’s monthly active users increased 62% and average revenue per user rebounded sharply from the prior-year period.
Latin American monthly active users, including customers in Mexico, reached approximately 653,000, compared with 403,000 during the second quarter of 2025. The region accounted for nearly 69% of Rush Street Interactive’s 949,000 total monthly active users.
Average revenue per monthly active user in Latin America increased to $55 from $30, representing growth of approximately 83%.
The improvement followed an unusually weak comparison period. In the second quarter of 2025, Latin American revenue per user had declined because of Rush Street Interactive’s increased promotional bonusing in Colombia following the implementation of a temporary value-added tax.
The latest results indicate that Rush Street Interactive expanded its Latin American player base while also extracting substantially more revenue from each active customer.
Rush Street Interactive operates its RushBet platform in Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. The company’s international operations complement its BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse businesses in the United States and Canada.
Latin America now supplies most of the company’s active users, but monetization remains significantly lower than in North America.
North American average revenue per monthly active user was $320, nearly six times the $55 generated in Latin America. However, North American revenue per user declined from $391 in the prior-year quarter.
North American monthly active users increased 51% to approximately 296,000. Growth was particularly strong in online casino markets, where active users increased 64%.
Across both regions, Rush Street Interactive’s monthly active users increased 58% to approximately 949,000.
The faster increase in customers than revenue indicates that the company’s expansion continues to include a greater number of lower-monetizing Latin American users. However, the sharp increase in Latin American revenue per user shows that the gap is beginning to narrow.
Rush Street Interactive generated record quarterly revenue of $393.8 million, increasing 46% from $269.2 million in the prior-year period.
The company attributed the performance to continued market-share gains in online casino and improved sports-betting activity associated with the World Cup.
Online casino remained the foundation of Rush Street Interactive’s strategy and generated 72% of total quarterly revenue. This means the company remains primarily an internet casino operator despite also offering online sports betting across many of its markets.
The casino-focused model gives Rush Street Interactive access to more consistent customer activity than a business dependent primarily on seasonal sporting events.
Adjusted EBITDA increased 61% to a quarterly record of $64.6 million from $40.2 million. Adjusted EBITDA margin expanded to approximately 16.4% from 15% as earnings grew faster than revenue.
Operating income increased approximately 90% to $46.2 million from $24.3 million, showing substantial operating leverage across the company’s technology platform and administrative infrastructure.
Adjusted sales and marketing expense increased to $48.6 million from $36.2 million. However, the expense declined as a percentage of revenue to 12.3% from approximately 13.4%.
The company therefore increased its total active-user base by 58% while increasing adjusted sales and marketing spending by approximately 34%.
Net income reached a quarterly record of $29.3 million, compared with $28.8 million in the prior-year quarter. The limited increase resulted partly from unusual tax-related items that affected the prior-year comparison.
Adjusted net income increased 38% to $36.6 million from $26.5 million.
Net income attributable specifically to Rush Street Interactive shareholders declined to $11.5 million from $16.7 million, as $17.7 million of consolidated net income was allocated to non-controlling interests.
Basic earnings per share declined to $0.10 from $0.18, while diluted earnings per share declined to $0.10 from $0.12. Adjusted earnings per share increased to $0.15 from $0.11.
Rush Street Interactive generated $72.2 million in operating cash flow during the first six months of 2026, compared with $54.5 million during the same period of 2025.
The company ended June with approximately $339.9 million in cash and cash equivalents, slightly above the $336.3 million held at the end of 2025.
Rush Street Interactive also repurchased and retired $28.8 million of its Class A common stock during the first half of the year.
The company launched online casino and online sports betting operations in Alberta during July. Management said early performance trends in the Canadian province were encouraging.
Following the record quarter, Rush Street Interactive raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to between $1.56 billion and $1.6 billion. The range represents projected growth of between 38% and 41%.
Adjusted EBITDA is now expected to range from $245 million to $265 million, representing year-over-year growth of between 59% and 72%.
The updated outlook assumes that Rush Street Interactive continues operating under tax structures similar to those currently in effect, including Colombia’s temporary emergency 16% tax decree.
Rush Street Interactive generated $764.1 million in revenue and $124.8 million in adjusted EBITDA during the first half of 2026. At the midpoints of guidance, the company would need approximately $815.9 million in second-half revenue and $130.2 million in adjusted EBITDA.
Latin America’s growing player base provides Rush Street Interactive with significant long-term scale, particularly as regulated online gaming expands across the region.
The larger opportunity is increasing the economic value of those customers. The rise in Latin American average revenue per user from $30 to $55 suggests that Rush Street Interactive is beginning to convert rapid user growth into stronger monetization.
