RxAnte, a provider of analytics, software, and clinical services for pharmacy care management, announced it has secured a strategic growth investment from Primus Capital as it looks to scale its value-based pharmacy programs and expand clinical offerings for health plans and members with complex drug therapy needs.
Financial terms were not disclosed. RxAnte said the investment comes as Mosaic Pharmacy Service, its technology-enabled pharmacy care management subsidiary, accelerates growth by delivering “high-touch” pharmacy care for medically complex and vulnerable populations.
RxAnte said it pioneered the use of healthcare data and advanced analytics to identify risk of unsafe medication use, run programs designed to improve prescribing and adherence, and measure outcomes in vulnerable groups. The company said it expects to manage more than 34 million lives in 2026 through partnerships with regional and national health plans.
The company pointed to peer-reviewed outcomes studies conducted with UPMC Health Plan that it said demonstrate Mosaic improves member health, reduces hospitalizations, lowers medical costs, and lifts quality scores. RxAnte said UPMC, which has served as a partner since 2016, supportedthe development of its model focused on individualized and coordinated pharmacy care for patients facing both medical complexity and social vulnerability.
Primus Capital, which invests in healthcare technology and services companies, said it views RxAnte as a market leader in pharmacy care management and plans to support continued product innovation and expansion.
RxAnte describes its mission as helping people on complex medication regimens live longer, healthier lives by combining population-level analytics with clinical services delivered through Mosaic for health plans and their members.
