SailPoint announced that it has completed its acquisition of Entro Security, a Tel Aviv-based company focused on non-human identity and credentials security. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Entro’s non-human identity and credentials security solutions are now available to SailPoint customers as standalone offerings while native platform integration continues.
The acquisition expands SailPoint’s enterprise identity security platform as organizations adopt AI agents, machine identities, and automated workflows.
SailPoint said non-human identities have surpassed human identities in many environments, creating a large new attack surface for enterprises.
The company said combining Entro with SailPoint Agentic Fabric will provide a broader identity security solution spanning human, machine, and agentic identities.
Entro’s technology is designed to help organizations discover and secure machine credentials, secrets, tokens, and certificates across cloud and hybrid environments.
The company’s controls operate within developer environments and can discover and secure more than 1,200 types of secrets, tokens, and certificates across CI/CD pipelines, codebases, and container registries.
SailPoint said the combination will allow organizations to govern AI agents based on the downstream resources and tools those agents use.
The combined platform is also expected to bring together SailPoint’s identity graph with Entro’s lineage map focused on secret and credential usage.
This is designed to help security teams trace which applications, scripts, or agents are using specific secrets at a given time.
SailPoint Agentic Fabric provides governance workflows including certifications, separation of duties, and lifecycle management.
Entro adds runtime security capabilities through its non-human identity detection and response technology, which monitors token behavior, detects anomalies, intercepts malicious AI tool calls, and helps protect against prompt security threats in real time.
Entro co-founders Itzik Alvas and Adam Cheriki have joined SailPoint’s technology organization to continue developing identity security capabilities and support the integration of Entro’s technology into the SailPoint platform.
The acquisition complements SailPoint’s recent launch of SailPoint Agentic Fabric, a solution for discovering, governing, and securing autonomous AI agents and machine identities.
SailPoint is an enterprise identity security company focused on adaptive identity security across human and non-human identities.
