Saltbox: Series C Funding Raised To Support National Expansion And Chicago Market Entry

Saltbox announced a Series C financing round led by Packard Capital alongside expansion plans that include opening a third Atlanta-area location and entering the Chicago market.

The company said the funding will support continued expansion of its national footprint, investments in logistics infrastructure, and growth of its operational support services for product-based businesses.

Saltbox develops operations hubs for product-based businesses by combining flexible warehouse space, logistics infrastructure, co-working amenities, and on-site operational support within a unified platform.

According to the company, businesses are increasingly moving away from traditional long-term warehouse leases and fully outsourced third-party logistics models toward more flexible operational environments that offer greater visibility and control over inventory, fulfillment, and the customer experience.

Saltbox said many members now use the platform as a distributed logistics network operating across multiple locations to reduce shipping costs, improve delivery speed, and expand geographically without rebuilding infrastructure independently.

The company’s new Chamblee location represents Saltbox’s third Atlanta-area facility and twelfth location nationally, bringing its total Atlanta footprint to approximately 300,000 square feet.

The Chamblee facility includes private warehouse suites, coworking areas, a content studio, fulfillment services, and operational support services, including inventory receiving, order picking and packing, and workflow optimization assistance.

Saltbox also announced plans to launch operations in the Chicago metropolitan area later this year, a strategic expansion that will support distributed logistics and faster shipping across the Midwest.

Founded in 2019, Saltbox currently operates across eight major U.S. markets and focuses on infrastructure and operational support for businesses managing physical products and logistics operations.

KEY QUOTES:

“We’re super excited to add Chamblee as our third location in the Atlanta market. Chamblee is one of the fastest growing cities in Georgia, and Saltbox is strategically located just around the corner from City Hall and close to MARTA. This location is especially meaningful because our co-founder, Tyler Scriven, ran and operated his ecommerce company out of this building back in 2019. This is where the vision of Saltbox was really born, so it makes this expansion extra special.”

Lucy Voss, VP Of Operations, Saltbox

“Chicago has consistently been a market businesses have asked us to be in, so to be finally launching here feels especially impactful. We’re seeing more members think beyond a single location—using Saltbox across markets to get closer to their customers, reduce shipping costs, and operate more efficiently. Chicago is a critical piece of that network.”

Olivia Mariani, VP Of Marketing, Saltbox

“We don’t just give you a place to work—we help you run your business, in a space where everything around you was built with your operation in mind.”

“We’re excited to continue expanding our footprint and to bring Saltbox to more entrepreneurs across the country. Packard is a valuable partner to us in both capital and real estate expertise, and we’re aligned in our belief that product-based businesses need more flexible, supportive infrastructure to operate and scale. Together, we’re building a platform that gives founders greater control, visibility, and the ability to grow on their own terms.”
