Salute To Acquire T5 Operations And Expand To More Than 15 GW Of Data Center Capacity Under Management

Salute has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire T5 Operations, which is the operations business segment of T5 Data Centers’ Services division. This strategic acquisition aims to significantly enhance Salute’s capabilities in facility management, mission-critical operations, and commissioning for hyperscale, artificial intelligence, high-performance computing (AI/HPC), and cloud data centers.

Upon the completion of this acquisition, Salute anticipates managing an impressive portfolio of over 15 gigawatts (GW) of data center capacity spread across more than 150 global markets. This expansion is also expected to create more than 3,800 jobs worldwide, reflecting Salute’s commitment to strengthening its workforce and operational capacity.

T5 Operations has built a robust reputation over the past 12 years, providing integrated facility management and mission-critical services tailored to the unique needs of hyperscale companies and wholesale data center developers. With this acquisition, Salute will also enhance its Direct-to-Chip liquid cooling services by integrating T5’s operational expertise, thus further optimizing its offerings in the rapidly evolving data center industry.

In terms of leadership, T5 Data Centers Chairman and CEO Pete Marin will join Salute’s board of directors, bringing valuable insights and experience to the company’s governance. Additionally, T5 Operations Executive Vice President David Mettler will join Salute’s executive leadership team, strengthening the organization’s strategic direction and operational execution.

In a related development, T5 Construction, part of T5 Data Centers, has rebranded and will now operate as EverOn Data Center Services. The company will operate as an independent data center construction firm, focusing on delivering high-quality construction solutions in the growing data center sector.
