SAM has acquired Wilson & Associates, one of Tennessee’s largest pure-play geomatics firms, expanding its geospatial and infrastructure services presence across Tennessee and the southeastern U.S.
Wilson & Associates has served public and private-sector clients across the Southeast for more than five decades, with capabilities spanning surveying, geospatial services and utility engineering.
Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, Wilson & Associates also operates offices in Cookeville and Johnson City.
The firm’s services include land and route surveying, construction surveying and staking, subsurface utility engineering, utility coordination, aerial mapping and remote sensing, LiDAR, hydrographic surveying, and 3D data and modeling.
Wilson & Associates serves transportation, utility, municipal, commercial, industrial and land development customers across Tennessee and the broader Southeast.
SAM provides geospatial and inspection services for critical infrastructure markets including utilities, transportation and energy. The Austin-based company employs more than 1,800 professionals and offers land and aerial surveying, subsurface utility engineering, construction and asset inspection, and digital data management.
