SambaNova has appointed Mohsen Moazami as Vice Chair of Global Strategy and Partnerships following the AI infrastructure company’s Series F financing at an $11 billion valuation.
Reporting to CEO Rodrigo Liang, Moazami will help accelerate SambaNova’s expansion across enterprise, government and sovereign AI markets.
Moazami most recently served in the Office of the CEO and as President of International at Groq.
At Groq, he led global commercial and sovereign-market expansion through the company’s $20 billion strategic transaction.
He also serves as Vice Chair of AI data platform company DDN, where he supports customer, government and sovereign relationships.
SambaNova provides chips, systems and cloud services designed for AI inference across enterprises, neoclouds, AI laboratories, service providers and sovereign AI programs.
The company is focused on providing faster inference, lower total ownership costs and greater control over AI infrastructure.
Moazami will contribute operating, investing, international market development and capital-markets experience as SambaNova expands production deployments globally.
