Sam’s Club announced the launch of an enhanced version of its Express delivery service, enabling members to receive thousands of in-club items from checkout to doorstep in as little as an hour, often even faster, with no minimum purchase and pricing consistent with in-club shopping.
The new offering builds on Sam’s Club’s existing Express delivery, introducing a faster tier designed to meet rising demand for near-instant fulfillment. Members can now choose between two options: an expedited one-hour or less delivery priced at $10 for Plus members and $22 for Club members, or the traditional three-hour or less service at reduced pricing of $5 for Plus members and $17 for Club members on eligible items. Standard delivery, shipping, and curbside pickup remain available.
Since rolling out the enhanced service across more than 600 locations on April 2, following initial testing in select markets, Sam’s Club has fulfilled nearly 65,000 Express deliveries. The average order is completed, from placement to delivery, in approximately 55 minutes, with some of the fastest deliveries occurring in under 12 minutes.
The service is increasingly being used for everyday essentials, including groceries, household items, and urgent purchases. Early use cases highlight rapid fulfillment for a variety of needs, ranging from baby formula deliveries completed in under 10 minutes to office supplies and pet food arriving in roughly the same timeframe.
The expansion reflects Sam’s Club’s broader strategy to strengthen its omnichannel retail capabilities, integrating in-club, online, mobile, curbside pickup, and delivery experiences. The service is powered by in-house technology and leverages enterprise innovations from Walmart, its parent company.
This push into faster fulfillment aligns with strong eCommerce momentum. In the most recent quarter ending January 31, 2026, Sam’s Club reported a 23% year-over-year increase in eCommerce sales, underscoring continued growth in digital and delivery channels.
With the enhanced Express delivery, Sam’s Club is aiming to redefine convenience in membership retail by combining speed, scale, and operational efficiency to meet evolving consumer expectations.
