Sanctuary Wealth: Marissa Fox-Foley Named As Chief Marketing Officer

Sanctuary Wealth has appointed marketing executive Marissa Fox-Foley as chief marketing officer, tasking her with leading the firm’s enterprise marketing strategy as it looks to strengthen its brand and expand marketing support for its Partner Firms.

Based in Miami, Sanctuary said Fox-Foley will work closely with CEO Adam Malamed and the executive leadership team to advance the firm’s growth priorities and enhance value delivered to affiliated advisors. The firm framed the hire as part of a broader investment in talent and infrastructure to support its expanding national footprint.

Fox-Foley brings more than 25 years of experience building brands and leading marketing and communications teams in highly regulated industries, including wealth management and healthcare. In the CMO role, she will oversee efforts to elevate Sanctuary’s corporate marketing capabilities and roll out scalable, advisor-focused strategies aimed at helping Partner Firms differentiate and drive organic growth.

Sanctuary said Fox-Foley’s priorities will include strengthening digital platforms, using data to improve personalization, and modernizing web, mobile, and investor-facing experiences to support deeper client relationships and more consistent outreach.

Before joining Sanctuary, Fox-Foley served as chief marketing and communications officer at Choreo, where she helped launch the firm as an independent registered investment advisor. During her tenure, the company said assets under advisement more than doubled from $11.8 billion to $27.2 billion, while expanding to 42 locations through a unified brand, an integrated go-to-market strategy, and a scaled marketing infrastructure.

Sanctuary describes itself as a leading hybrid RIA that provides wealth management solutions, platform partnerships, and strategic capital investments to independent wealth management firms. The firm said it broadened its affiliation options through its 2024 acquisition of Tru Independence, enabling partner firms to choose among multiple models.
