SandboxAQ announced that it will make its Large Quantitative Models available through Google Cloud Marketplace.
The listing will enable users to access SandboxAQ’s physics-grounded scientific models through conversational AI tools without requiring specialized code or infrastructure.
Large Quantitative Models, or LQMs, are AI models built on real-world lab data and scientific equations.
SandboxAQ said the models are designed for the global quantitative economy, including sectors such as biopharma, energy, advanced materials, and financial services.
By offering LQMs through Google Cloud Marketplace, SandboxAQ is expanding the reach of its models across more channels and large language models.
Google Cloud is also strengthening its capabilities in healthcare and drug discovery through the collaboration.
The collaboration builds on SandboxAQ’s broader strategy of connecting its LQMs to leading large language models, following its recent integration with Anthropic’s Claude.
AQCat will be SandboxAQ’s first LQM available through Google Cloud Marketplace and is expected to launch in the third quarter.
AQCat is designed for materials and catalyst discovery, targeting adsorption energy calculation, which measures how strongly molecules bind to a catalyst surface.
The tool is intended to help researchers rapidly identify and prioritize promising candidates before committing modeling and lab resources to full evaluation.
SandboxAQ said AQCat delivers high accuracy at a lower time and cost profile, enabling materials screening at a scale that was previously difficult to reach.
Catalysts are used in more than 90% of commercially produced chemical products and are important across areas such as green hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuel, fertilizer production, and plastics recycling.
SandboxAQ’s AQPotency drug discovery models are also expected to become available through Google Cloud Marketplace in the third quarter.
AQPotency is designed to help researchers computationally identify and prioritize promising binders at high throughput.
Binders are molecules that attach to a specific biological target, such as a disease-related protein, and identifying those that bind tightly and selectively is a key part of designing effective drugs.
SandboxAQ said AQPotency can evaluate thousands of candidates in a fraction of the time and cost of traditional screening.
The company said the addition of AQPotency will deepen Google Cloud Marketplace’s relevance for pharmaceutical and biotech research and development teams.
