SAP National Security Services (SAP NS2), a U.S.-based subsidiary of SAP SE, announced it has been awarded a $1 billion firm-fixed-price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the United States Army for an end-user license agreement under the RISE with SAP portfolio.

The 10-year contract, awarded in September 2025 and running through September 2035, marks a major milestone in the Army’s digital transformation strategy. It will facilitate the Army’s migration from legacy on-premise systems to SAP NS2’s FedRAMP-authorized secure cloud platform, supporting mission-critical modernization across the Department of Defense.

RISE with SAP provides a comprehensive suite of cloud-based enterprise applications and infrastructure services, including tools for enterprise resource planning, supply chain management, and advanced analytics. Through this modernization effort, the Army will be able to streamline administrative processes, reduce technical overhead, and increase operational agility in support of its global mission.

SAP NS2’s FedRAMP and DISA-authorized environment ensures that all applications operate within a secure, U.S.-based cloud infrastructure, maintained exclusively by U.S. citizens on U.S. soil. The company’s team includes experts in cybersecurity, compliance, and mission operations, ensuring that sensitive defense workloads remain secure and compliant throughout the transition.

The RISE with SAP initiative will enable the Army to enhance the speed, resilience, and efficiency of enterprise software delivery, helping the force better allocate resources toward strategic defense priorities.
