Sapient Capital has recruited veteran private banker Sarah White as a Partner and Wealth Advisor in the firm’s New York office, adding a senior advisor with decades of experience serving ultra-high-net-worth families.

White joined the independent registered investment advisor on January 5, 2026, as Sapient continues to build out its roster of senior private wealth professionals who want to operate within an independent, fiduciary model while delivering investment management, wealth strategy, and family office services.

In her most recent role, White served as a Managing Director and Private Banker at JPMorgan Private Bank. Sapient said she managed relationships for roughly 70 ultra-high-net-worth households and advised on more than $3 billion in client assets. Over a 32-year career at JPMorgan and predecessor institutions, including the National Bank of Detroit and Bank One Corporation, she held roles across commercial, investment, and private banking.

White is originally from Central Michigan. She earned an undergraduate degree from Alma College in 1993 and an MBA from DePaul University in 1999.

The announcement follows other senior additions in New York. Sapient said it welcomed Joshua Mandelbaum as a New York-based Partner and Wealth Advisor in November 2025, the same month David Larado joined the firm as a Partner focused on corporate development. Mandelbaum and Larado bring nearly 20 years of experience from JPMorgan and UBS, respectively, according to the firm.

Sapient Capital is headquartered in Indianapolis and has offices in Los Angeles, Miami, and New York. The firm advises multigenerational families, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, endowments, and foundations.
