Savant Tax & Consulting has changed its name to Savant Accounting & Business Advisory, or SABA, reflecting the firm’s expansion beyond tax services into accounting, consulting, payroll and broader business advisory work.

The wholly owned subsidiary of Savant Wealth Management also announced two new partnerships. Professional Business Management, a Barrington, Illinois-based firm focused on healthcare professionals and private practices, and Summit CPA Group, a Rockford, Illinois-based accounting and advisory firm serving business owners, joined SABA effective August 31, 2026.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The additions expand an organization that now includes more than 140 accounting, tax and advisory professionals.

SABA said tax planning and preparation remain core services, but the new name better reflects the wider range of support clients increasingly receive, including accounting, payroll, consulting, succession planning and business advisory.

Professional Business Management was founded in 1932 and specializes in serving physicians, dentists, veterinarians and other healthcare providers.

Summit CPA Group was founded in 1999 and focuses on helping business owners across northern Illinois with accounting, tax and advisory needs.

The partnerships strengthen SABA’s capabilities across healthcare practices, privately held businesses and business-owner planning.

Savant is positioning the organization around more coordinated advice for clients whose tax, business and personal financial needs often overlap.

As a subsidiary of Savant Wealth Management, SABA can also work alongside the broader firm’s wealth planning platform.

That can be particularly relevant for business owners dealing with succession, retirement planning, business sales and other events that have both tax and personal wealth implications.

Savant Wealth Management serves more than 7,000 clients and had approximately $28.6 billion in assets under management and advisement as of December 31, 2025.

The firm operates from more than 40 locations across the country.

SABA provides accounting, tax, consulting, payroll, business succession planning, retirement planning and business advisory services to businesses, business owners, individuals and families.

The rebranding and new partnerships represent another step in Savant’s effort to broaden its capabilities at the intersection of accounting, tax, business advisory and wealth management.

KEY QUOTES:

“For more than two decades, we have intentionally expanded our accounting, tax, and advisory capabilities to better serve the increasingly complex needs of our clients. The SABA name reflects the organization we have built and the comprehensive services we provide today. The additions of PBM and Summit help further strengthen our ability to support business owners, individuals, and families through coordinated advice and planning.”

Brent Brodeski, CFP, CPA, CFA, MBA, Founder and CEO of Savant

“Many clients come to us for tax services, but they often rely on us for much more than that. Today, we help clients address accounting, payroll, consulting, and business advisory needs – such as succession planning – in addition to tax planning and preparation. The SABA name more accurately reflects the breadth of services we provide and our commitment to helping clients address both personal and business financial challenges.”
