Savant Wealth Management announced it has partnered with Grand Capital Advisors, a Grand Blanc, Michigan-based registered investment advisor with about $127 million in assets under management, expanding the firm’s footprint in the Midwest.
The partnership closed on Feb. 28, 2026. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2019 by Ken Duetsch II and Steve Schiestel, Grand Capital Advisors primarily serves clients aged 50 and older or those within 10 years of retirement. The firm operates from Grand Blanc, located south of Flint in Genesee County.
As part of the partnership, Duetsch and Schiestel will become member-owners in Savant Wealth Management, along with Andreas Shick, an investment advisor at Grand Capital. Lori Amos, the firm’s director of operations, will join Savant as an employee.
The deal adds a second Savant office in Michigan and represents the firm’s third partnership in the state. Savant said the transaction aligns with its strategy of expanding nationally while building deeper density in markets where it already operates.
With the addition of Grand Capital Advisors and Massachusetts-based Heritage Financial, Savant now operates 51 offices across 21 states, including locations in Grand Blanc and Plymouth, Michigan.
Founded in 1986, Savant Wealth Management provides investment management, financial planning, retirement plan services, and family office solutions. The firm reported approximately $42.3 billion in assets under management and $1.7 billion in assets under advisement as of Feb. 28, 2026.
