Savant Wealth Management announced that it has partnered with Socha Financial Group, LLC, a Corning, New York-based registered investment adviser with approximately $542 million in assets under management.

The partnership closed on August 31, 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed. FP Transitions served as M&A consultant and valuation advisor to Socha Financial Group.

Founded in 1983 by Nancy Socha, Socha Financial Group provides comprehensive financial planning, investment management, retirement planning, tax planning and preparation, and estate planning services.

The eight-person firm has developed longstanding relationships with individuals and families throughout the Corning region and has extensive experience working with employees and retirees of Corning Incorporated.

As part of the transaction, Michelle Socha Vang, CFP, EA, managing partner and COO, and Jolie McCarthy, CFP, EA, managing partner, will join Savant as member-owners and employees.

The remainder of the Socha Financial Group team will join Savant as employees.

Michael Socha, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Socha Financial Group, will become a member-owner of Savant but will not join the firm as an employee.

The partnership expands Savant’s presence in New York and gives Socha Financial Group access to additional technology, specialized expertise and other resources while allowing its team to maintain the planning-oriented service model it has developed over more than four decades.

Socha Financial Group said its growth created a need for additional resources and infrastructure to continue supporting clients while preserving the culture and personalized approach that have defined the practice.

The combination also aligns with Savant’s emphasis on comprehensive financial planning and serving clients across multiple aspects of their financial lives.

Socha Financial Group’s services extend beyond portfolio management into areas such as retirement planning, tax planning and preparation, and estate planning, creating a broad advice model for individuals and families.

The transaction gives Savant its third office in New York.

With the addition of Socha Financial Group, Savant now operates 71 offices across 28 states.

The deal also expands a Savant organization that reported approximately $56.5 billion in assets under management and $1.5 billion in assets under advisement as of June 30, 2026.

Savant provides investment management, comprehensive financial planning, retirement plan services and family office solutions to individuals and institutions. Through affiliated businesses, the firm also provides corporate accounting, tax preparation, payroll and consulting services, along with estate planning document preparation and related legal services.

For Socha Financial Group, the partnership is designed to provide greater scale behind its existing client relationships while maintaining continuity for clients who have worked with the practice for many years.
