Savvy Wealth, a technology-driven platform focused on modernizing financial advice, has announced the appointment of Anshul Sharma as its new Chief Investment Officer. Sharma brings more than 25 years of experience in wealth management and investment strategy, having built and led multi-billion-dollar platforms at major financial institutions. He will be based in New York City and will work closely with Savvy’s leadership and advisory teams nationwide to help shape the future of investment management for high-net-worth clients.
In his new role, Sharma will establish Savvy’s first institutional-grade investment office. This office will directly support the independent advisors affiliated with Savvy Advisors, the firm’s registered investment advisor. His responsibilities include bringing portfolio strategy in-house, refining model portfolios, and providing clear, timely guidance that helps advisors explain investment decisions to their clients. Sharma will also focus on expanding access to alternative investments and thematic strategies while improving the firm’s proprietary platform, Savvy Wealth Investment Management. These enhancements are designed to give advisors the tools and education they need to meet the complex financial needs of their clients and grow their practices.
Before joining Savvy, Sharma held senior positions at Bank of America, U.S. Trust, and Merrill Lynch. Throughout his career, he has worked across multiple asset classes and partnered with advisors to improve portfolio construction and client outcomes. His profound expertise will be instrumental in helping Savvy scale its investment offerings and deliver more personalized solutions.
This leadership appointment comes as Savvy Wealth enters a new phase of growth, following the successful close of its $72 million Series B funding round. The firm continues to expand its platform to serve high-net-worth individuals better, offering a wide range of services, including direct indexed portfolios, alternative investments, 401(k) management, estate planning tools, financial planning, and tax optimization.
