Scrunch AI: $15 Million Raised For Improving AI Search

Scrunch AI, a company dedicated to helping brands understand and improve their presence in AI search, has announced a $15 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Decibel, with participation from Mayfield, Homebrew, and other strategic investors.

This funding follows a period of rapid growth for Scrunch AI, during which its paying customer base has increased by over 50% month-over-month in the last quarter. Currently, over 500 brands utilize the platform to monitor and enhance their visibility in AI search results, with customers reporting an average 40% increase in referral traffic and up to a 4x improvement in visibility across generative platforms.

Scrunch AI has also introduced a dedicated offering for agencies to help them guide clients through the shift to AI search. The newly raised capital will accelerate the development and deployment of the Scrunch Agent Experience Platform (AXP). AXP is a new infrastructure layer that enables brands to serve optimized, machine-readable content directly to AI crawlers, improving discoverability and placement without requiring website redesigns.

With over 70% of Fortune 1000 websites being difficult for AI crawlers to interpret, Scrunch AI aims to prepare brands for the rapidly expanding generative search ecosystem.
