SEI Group has acquired Greenhome Specialties, marking the specialty building products installer’s first entry into Utah. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2011 and based in West Haven, Utah, Greenhome installs fiberglass, spray foam and other insulation products.
The company serves single-family and multifamily residential construction as well as light commercial new construction.
Its operations extend across the greater Salt Lake City area, other parts of Utah and several surrounding states.
Greenhome owner Kyle Tolman will remain with the business and continue serving as president.
The acquisition expands SEI’s geographic footprint into one of the company’s targeted growth markets.
SEI installs insulation and complementary specialty building products and has continued pursuing acquisitions since its recapitalization by Quad-C Management in February 2021.
Greenhome represents SEI’s 17th acquisition since that recapitalization.
Following the transaction, SEI operates 45 branches across 14 states.
