Semperis, the identity-driven cyber resilience and crisis response company, has appointed Tom Linckens to its Strategic Advisory Board as it advances its next phase of growth across the DACH and EMEA regions.
In his advisory role, Linckens will support Semperis’ mission to help organizations strengthen hybrid identity threat detection, response, and recovery capabilities. The company focuses on protecting identity systems across multi-cloud and hybrid environments, including Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, and Ping.
Linckens brings extensive executive leadership experience, having previously served as Chief Information Officer of Bertelsmann and Henkel. In those roles, he oversaw hundreds of business units and more than 100,000 employees globally. Since 2019, he has advised multiple organizations on improving operational structures and leveraging AI to address complex business challenges.
Semperis said Linckens will help facilitate engagement with enterprises facing persistent threats to their hybrid identity systems, particularly in Europe’s German-speaking and broader EMEA markets. His appointment adds to a Strategic Advisory Board that includes former U.S. National Cyber Director Chris Inglis, former CIA Director General David Petraeus (Ret.), former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, former bp CISO Simon Hodgkinson, and Advocate Health CISO Todd Greene.
Headquartered in Hoboken, New Jersey, Semperis serves more than 1,000 organizations across over 40 countries, including more than 25% of the 100 largest U.S. companies. The company’s AI-powered platform combines identity protection with crisis management capabilities designed to prevent, detect, respond to, and recover from identity-based cyberattacks.

Semperis’ products and services are best-in-class, and it is no wonder the company is experiencing rapid growth across DACH and EMEA. There is no bigger challenge today for corporations than protecting their digital infrastructure and I look forward to supporting Semperis’ mission of fortifying hybrid identity systems, such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta and Ping, from the never-ending cyber threats.”
