SENA Health has secured Series A financing led by Rittenhouse Ventures to expand its AI-powered healthcare access and care coordination platform, Clinical Command Center and global operations.
The New Jersey-based company is focused on reducing administrative friction for medical practices while making it easier for patients to access care.
SENA combines intelligent automation with healthcare professionals through a 24/7 Clinical Command Center that can take over front desk, back-office and call-center functions for healthcare organizations.
The company is positioning the platform as an AI-enablement layer for medical practices rather than simply a software product.
SENA’s model is designed to reduce administrative workloads that can consume significant staff time and create delays for patients attempting to schedule appointments, communicate with providers or navigate healthcare services.
By combining automation with clinical expertise, the company aims to allow healthcare providers and employees to focus more of their time on patient care and other higher-value responsibilities.
The Series A funding will support the expansion of SENA’s Clinical Command Center and broader operations as the company works with additional healthcare organizations.
Financial terms of the round were not disclosed.
Rittenhouse Ventures focuses on emerging-growth B2B SaaS, AI and technology-enabled services companies, particularly businesses operating in the Mid-Atlantic and other markets it considers underserved.
The firm typically invests in companies producing between $2 million and $10 million in revenue and generally participates in financing rounds of $5 million or less.
In addition to capital, SENA expects to use Rittenhouse’s technology and healthcare experience and operating network as it expands.
The financing comes as healthcare providers increasingly look to AI and automation to address staffing constraints and reduce the administrative burden associated with operating medical practices.
SENA is focused on using those capabilities to improve patient access while preserving a human-centered healthcare experience.
