ServiceNow and Accenture announced the launch of a Forward Deployed Engineering program designed to help enterprises scale agentic artificial intelligence workflows across their organizations.
Under the program, ServiceNow’s AI-native Forward Deployed Engineering teams will work alongside industry-focused Accenture engineering teams directly within customer environments to develop and deploy AI workflows built on the ServiceNow AI Platform.
The companies said the initiative is intended to move enterprises from isolated AI experimentation toward production-scale deployments integrated into operational systems where enterprise work already occurs. The program focuses on building AI workflows natively within customer environments before broader enterprise rollout begins.
According to Accenture research cited in the announcement, while many organizations view AI as a driver of growth, only 32% of business leaders report sustained enterprise-wide AI impact. The companies said the new engineering program is designed to address implementation and operational delivery challenges rather than underlying technology limitations.
The initiative provides clients access to more than 300 prebuilt AI agent skills and agentic workflows on the ServiceNow AI Platform. The program also leverages ServiceNow’s AI Control Tower, which is designed to govern, manage, and monitor AI agents across enterprise environments.
ServiceNow and Accenture said each customer engagement will involve a dedicated engineering and industry-specific deployment team focused on building customized AI workflows aligned with specific enterprise value chains and operational requirements.
ServiceNow operates an enterprise AI platform used to orchestrate workflows across cloud systems, applications, and AI agents, while Accenture provides consulting, technology, and AI transformation services globally.
KEY QUOTES:
“Forward deployed engineering is how ServiceNow and Accenture turn mutual customers’ agentic AI business goals into value-generating production workloads. We’re not simply handing over instructions. Our teams are in the customers’ environments, implementing ServiceNow, customer & third-party building blocks, and demonstrating the resulting value metrics in the ServiceNow AI Control Tower.”

“The question our clients ask is not whether to invest in AI—it’s how to make it work at enterprise scale. This program brings together Accenture’s industry depth and implementation reach with ServiceNow’s AI Platform to deliver real results, not roadmaps. Together, we can move AI from isolated experiments to a core driver of business reinvention for our clients.”
