Seven Bridges Wealth Advisors announced it is launching as a full-service independent firm, marking a significant transition from its previous affiliation with Ameriprise Financial. The advisor-owned and led practice previously managed $1 billion in total client assets and will now operate under a multi-custodial model, leveraging NewEdge Advisors as its platform partner.
The move to independence follows months of internal discussions among the leadership team, including 30-year industry veteran Dave Mazzetti. The firm said the transition positions it to better adapt to evolving client expectations and industry dynamics while expanding its wealth management capabilities through enhanced technology, infrastructure and flexible solutions.
By partnering with NewEdge Advisors, Seven Bridges gains access to broader operational support and advanced planning tools while maintaining the flexibility of an open-architecture framework. The firm said this structure allows it to move beyond reliance on a single back-office provider without compromising the support required to serve clients effectively.
Seven Bridges offers a comprehensive suite of services, including investment and retirement planning, insurance, employee benefits, income tax management, budgeting and cash flow planning, legacy and estate planning, and charitable giving strategies.
The practice has been named to the Forbes Best in New York Wealth Management Teams list for 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, based on rankings developed by SHOOK Research. The firm emphasized that the recognition reflects both qualitative and quantitative factors and is not indicative of future performance.
Founded as an independent wealth management firm with a family office approach, Seven Bridges operates offices across Lower Westchester and into the Hudson Valley, including White Plains, Goshen, Poughkeepsie, Wallkill and Albany.
