Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. has appointed Swathy Ramanath as a partner in its Infrastructure, Energy and Project Finance practice in Bengaluru. Ramanath brings 15 years of experience advising on major infrastructure, energy, project financing, and corporate transactions. She joins the firm from Khaitan & Co., where she previously served as a partner.
Ramanath advises clients on complex project contracts, concessions, bidding processes, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions involving infrastructure assets.
Her sector experience includes power transmission, airports, conventional and renewable energy, railways, and related infrastructure.
She has also represented clients in disputes involving infrastructure and energy projects.
Beyond traditional project finance and infrastructure transactions, Ramanath has advised companies on establishing and expanding Global Capability Centers in India.
This experience gives her additional insight into the regulatory, commercial, and transactional challenges facing international businesses investing in Indian operations.
Her appointment expands Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas’ ability to advise domestic and international clients on infrastructure development, energy investments, and large-scale projects.
