Sia has acquired Kaiser Associates, a boutique strategy consulting firm headquartered in the United States with a branch in the United Kingdom, in a move the firm says will accelerate its U.S. expansion and strengthen its advisory capabilities in corporate strategy and private equity.

Kaiser Associates, founded in 1981 by Michael M. Kaiser, employs 65 consultants and operates from offices in Washington, D.C., New York, and London. The firm has built longstanding relationships with Fortune 500 C suite leaders in technology, finance, and consumer goods, as well as with global private equity funds. Its work spans go to market strategy, growth opportunity assessments, benchmarking and best practice programs, market landscaping, and structural attractiveness studies.

Following the deal, Sia said it will launch a dedicated Corporate Strategy, Private Equity and M&A Business Line that will be immediately present across the United States, the United Kingdom, France, the Middle East, and Australia. The integration also includes leadership appointments from Kaiser Associates. Ali Cumber, Paul Mumma, and Jon Meyerholz will join Sia as Partners, with Meyerholz set to lead the new business line as Managing Partner.

Sia positioned the acquisition as a step toward expanding its strategic advisory platform and enhancing its appeal to global private equity clients, while Kaiser Associates emphasized the opportunity to scale through a larger international footprint and to further incorporate AI into its services.

Sia, founded in 1999, describes itself as a next-generation global management consulting group with 3,000 consultants serving clients from 48 locations across 19 countries.
