Sidley has added Michael Pikiel Jr., Richard Puttré, Tom Millar and Patrick Selinger to its Energy, Transportation and Infrastructure practice, strengthening the firm’s capabilities across project finance, energy transactions, regulatory matters and infrastructure investments.
All four partners join from Winston Taylor and will be based across Sidley’s New York, Miami, Washington, D.C., and Houston offices.
Pikiel joins in New York and brings nearly 25 years of experience representing sponsors, developers, investors, lenders and underwriters in infrastructure and project finance transactions.
His work includes public-private partnerships involving transportation, energy and social infrastructure.
Puttré joins in Miami and advises financial institutions, project sponsors and investors on U.S. and Latin American energy and infrastructure assets.
His recent work includes renewable energy financings, toll road projects and energy transition transactions.
Millar joins in Washington and focuses on transactional and enforcement matters across U.S. energy markets.
His practice includes M&A, project development and financing, as well as market manipulation and enforcement defense before FERC, the CFTC and the Department of Justice.
Selinger joins in Houston and advises infrastructure funds, private equity investors, developers and strategic companies on renewable energy, conventional power, transmission and other infrastructure investments.
Sidley said its Energy, Transportation and Infrastructure practice has grown significantly in the first half of 2026, driven in part by data center development, reshoring of manufacturing, and continued infrastructure and renewable energy investment.
