Sidley announced that Demetrius Warrick has joined the firm’s M&A and PE practice as a partner in Sidley’s office in New York. Warrick joins from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
Warrick focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities, and general corporate law. He regularly advises public and private clients in corporate matters, including strategic acquisitions, divestitures, auctions, strategic investments, reorganizations, financial advisor engagements, and joint ventures. And Warrick also represents private equity sponsors, other private capital investors, and their portfolio companies in connection with complex transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and general corporate matters.
