Sidley: Sarah Carlson Joins As Partner In Litigation Partner

Sidley announced that Sarah Carlson has joined as a partner in the firm’s Litigation practice in San Diego.

Carlson joins Sidley from Dentons, where she was the Chair of the consumer product safety and advertising regulatory compliance team. At Sidley, she will be leading the consumer product safety regulatory practice and will be an integral member of Sidley’s product liability and mass torts practice.

Carlson represents major manufacturers, importers, distributors, and retailers of consumer products in regulatory matters before the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). And she skillfully guides clients on managing product risk across a variety of industries. Carlson’s experience extends to pre-market testing requirements, regulatory reporting, and product recalls, defending against and navigating them, civil penalty investigations, and developing and implementing robust safety and compliance programs.

Carlson’s practice also includes representing clients before the National Advertising Division and the Federal Trade Commission in allegations of false advertising or unfair and deceptive trade practices. As an experienced litigator, Carlson can utilize her strong regulatory expertise to vigorously represent clients in complex litigation involving consumer product safety, false advertising, and unfair and deceptive trade practices.
