Sightline Wealth Management appointed Oded Orgil as Chief Executive Officer and Mark Goodman as Chairman of the Board, strengthening its leadership team as the firm focuses on growth and execution.
Both appointments are effective immediately and have received the required regulatory approvals.
As Chairman, Goodman will concentrate on Sightline’s strategic direction, governance, and longer-term priorities.
He brings more than 30 years of experience across capital markets, mutual funds, wealth management, merchant banking, corporate governance, and investment management.
Goodman previously served as President of Dundee Corporation, a publicly listed merchant bank focused on the mining sector.
His background also includes extensive board-level experience, and he currently serves as a director of other public and private companies.
At Sightline, Goodman is expected to use that experience to help guide the firm’s broader strategy and support management as it evaluates opportunities for continued expansion.
Orgil will oversee Sightline’s day-to-day operations and lead the execution of the firm’s growth initiatives.
He brings more than 25 years of experience spanning wealth management, capital markets, fundraising, advisor recruitment, and business development.
Orgil is currently Founder and CEO of 5X Capital Management and Co-Founder and CEO of I3 Capital Group.
Earlier in his career, he served as President and CEO of Gravitas Securities from 2015 through 2017.
During his tenure at Gravitas, Orgil increased the firm’s wealth management assets under administration from $170 million to $500 million.
He also expanded the company’s investment banking team from two employees to 17, reflecting experience in both asset growth and organizational scaling.
Before Gravitas, Orgil held senior roles at Mandeville Group, Manulife Financial, Canaccord Financial, and HSBC Securities.
Those positions gave him experience across multiple areas of financial services, including wealth management, advisory, capital markets, and business-building.
The appointments establish a leadership structure in which Goodman will focus primarily on strategic oversight while Orgil is responsible for operational execution and the implementation of Sightline’s growth plans.
Sightline said the combination of Goodman’s governance and capital markets experience with Orgil’s operating and wealth management background is intended to support the firm as it pursues its next stage of development.
