Sigma Automate has emerged from stealth with $2.75 million in funding to address the growing complexity of enterprise IT environments through a no-code, AI-native automation platform. The round was led by Glasswing Ventures, with participation from angel investors.
The company is launching with a rapidly expanding base of Fortune 1000 and mid-market customers, signaling strong early demand for its approach to simplifying infrastructure management. Sigma Automate’s platform is designed to help IT and DevOps teams automate operations, security, and disaster recovery workflows without requiring coding expertise.
As enterprises increasingly adopt hybrid cloud environments that span on-premise systems, cloud infrastructure, and virtual desktops, IT teams are facing mounting operational complexity. At the same time, many organizations lack the specialized DevOps talent needed to build and maintain automation using traditional, code-first tools. Sigma Automate aims to bridge this gap by providing a visual, no-code platform that enables rapid deployment and automation in minutes rather than days.
The platform includes capabilities such as no-code orchestration, autonomous self-healing, patch management, and compliance monitoring. These features are designed to help organizations reduce downtime, strengthen security, and maintain system integrity without increasing headcount or operational burden.
Sigma Automate is led by CEO Richard Shaaya, CTO Ben Barbour, and COO Greg Arnette, a founding team with extensive experience in enterprise IT, AI systems, and infrastructure software. Their backgrounds include leadership roles at companies such as The Home Depot, WellStar Health System, Corning, Volkswagen, Lapetus Solutions, Sonian, and IntelliReach.
The platform is already delivering measurable results for customers. SiteOne Landscape Supply has deployed Sigma Automate to manage thousands of virtual machines across multiple data centers, significantly improving efficiency and reducing manual workloads.
With early revenue traction and adoption across sectors including retail, logistics, and healthcare, Sigma Automate is positioning itself to close the enterprise IT automation gap and accelerate digital transformation for organizations that lack deep in-house automation expertise.
KEY QUOTES:
“Existing solutions are failing administrators: they are too complicated, too costly, and too hard to adopt. Sigma is the execution engine for agentic AI in IT, enabling accessible automation for infrastructure, cost optimization, and security enforcement through a no-code, intuitive visual platform.”
Richard Shaaya, CEO And Co-Founder Of Sigma Automate
“Sigma has fundamentally simplified how we manage our IT infrastructure. What used to take multiple tools and manual effort is now automated end-to-end, allowing our team to focus on the business instead of maintaining systems. Enterprise IT teams have long been buried in complexity, juggling hybrid infrastructure across cloud, on-prem, and virtual desktops with no clear path forward.”
Rick Grinnell, Founder And Managing Partner At Glasswing Ventures
“The organizations that will pull ahead are those willing to rethink automation and infrastructure management from the ground up. Richard, Ben, Greg, and the Sigma team are doing exactly that, transforming what has historically been an operational burden into a genuine competitive advantage.”
