Sign In Solutions announced it has acquired The Receptionist, adding a Denver-based visitor management provider with more than 5,500 customers across 35 countries as the company continues a multi-acquisition strategy aimed at building a unified visitor management platform for organizations ranging from small businesses to large enterprises.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The deal brings The Receptionist’s “Radical Support” service model into Sign In Solutions’ product portfolio, which includes Sign In Solutions and Sign In App. The companies said The Receptionist’s customer support practices will be integrated across the broader platform, with the goal of improving service while expanding the feature set available to existing The Receptionist customers.
Sign In Solutions positioned the acquisition as a response to rising governance, risk-management and compliance (GRC) demands, the realities of hybrid work, and the growing intersection between physical security and cybersecurity. The combined offering is intended to help organizations manage visitors and workplace entry experiences in a way that supports compliance and security requirements without adding friction for employees, guests and customers.
The company said its visitor management tools are designed to scale across use cases and industries, from healthcare and manufacturing to education and research environments, and can be tailored to site-specific needs. With The Receptionist joining the platform, Sign In Solutions said customers should gain access to a broader set of capabilities while retaining the service experience The Receptionist is known for.
Formed in 2021 with backing from PSG Equity, Sign In Solutions has assembled its platform through a series of acquisitions spanning visitor management, compliance and identity verification, workplace orchestration, education safeguarding, and scheduling technology. The company said it now serves more than 27,500 customers across 100 countries, including Fortune 500 organizations in sectors such as technology, healthcare, manufacturing and communications.
