SignalFire Expands Team With 9 New Investors

SignalFire partner and CEO Chris Farmer announced this week that after a decade of disciplined venture investing and applied AI research, the firm is growing its team.

“We’re welcoming nine new team members strategically chosen to help our early-stage firm capitalize on new opportunities in AI, healthcare, and other core sectors. They’ll also help us build a community of founders, corporate partners, and mentors as part of our new AI Lab,” said Farmer. “While industry peers cut staff, we’re scaling our team and AI technology to find and partner with entrepreneurs who are using AI to transform enterprises. We’ve spent the past 10 years building and training our proprietary Beacon AI data platform, and we’re now applying Beacon in even more ways for investing, recruiting, marketing, and community-building.”

– Sooah Cho is now a Partner, focused on early-stage health and life sciences tech;

– Veronica Mercado was hired as a Principal and Chief of Staff to CEO Chris Farmer, focused on enterprise AI through SignalFire’s AI Lab;

– Lisa Liu was hired as a Principal, focused on venture and growth-stage software investments;

– Bradford Jones was hired as a Principal, focused on early-stage AI/ML and vertical SaaS;

– Lauren Nguyen was hired as the Head of Marketing, using AI and integrated systems for founder outreach;

– Asher Bantock was hired as the Head of Research, developing data insights from the firm’s AI to support the firm’s investment team and portfolio companies;

– Sadasia McCutchen was hired as the Head of Ecosystem, cultivating the corporate, advisor, and mentor network;

– Mario Espindola was hired as the Senior Director of Talent, who will shape their portfolio companies’ talent strategies and

– And Andrew Reid was hired as Director of GTM Recruiting and will assist portfolio companies with talent acquisition initiatives across go-to-market functions.
