Sikich announced that it has acquired Burwood Group, a Chicago-area IT consulting and integration firm with nearly 30 years of experience serving enterprise clients across industries, including healthcare, higher education, industrials, and financial services.
The acquisition is aimed at strengthening Sikich’s IT consulting and integration capabilities, as organizations seek more secure, scalable, and efficient technology environments. By combining Burwood Group’s expertise with its own consulting, technology, and compliance platform, Sikich expects to deliver more comprehensive, end-to-end solutions spanning business advisory, technology modernization, and governance.
Burwood Group’s capabilities are expected to enhance Sikich’s ability to help clients navigate increasing platform complexity while improving operational efficiency. The integration also builds on Sikich’s existing presence in regulated industries, enabling broader and deeper service offerings across its client base.
Sikich, which has approximately 2,000 employees and operates across North America, EMEA, and APAC, continues to pursue strategic growth through acquisitions that expand both its technical depth and industry reach.
