Silver Point Capital’s Direct Lending business has led a $650 million term loan financing supporting Stryten Energy’s acquisition of C&D Technologies and Trojan Battery Company.
Silver Point also led syndication of the financing to existing and new lenders.
Stryten completed the C&D Trojan acquisition on October 1, 2026.
The transaction creates a larger battery manufacturing platform serving transportation, industrial, essential power, critical infrastructure and military applications.
Following the acquisition, the combined company operates 18 battery manufacturing and component facilities across the United States, Mexico and China.
Stryten is a portfolio company of Atlas Holdings, while C&D Trojan was previously a portfolio company of KPS Capital Partners.
The financing extends Silver Point’s existing relationship with Stryten. The investment firm previously led a $400 million financing for the company in 2024.
