SiMa.ai And Wobot.ai Partner To Bring Reasoning-Based Video Analytics To Physical AI Platform

SiMa.ai and Wobot.ai have formed a partnership that will make Wobot.ai’s reasoning-based video analytics technology available on SiMa.ai’s Physical AI platform, enabling organizations to process video data at the edge and turn camera feeds into operational insights.

The collaboration brings Wobot.ai’s deployment-ready video intelligence software to SiMa.ai’s Modalix MLSoC PCIe Card and System-on-Module platforms.

The companies are targeting organizations that generate large amounts of video but face challenges converting that information into timely insights. Processing video through cloud infrastructure can introduce latency, additional costs and privacy considerations, while conventional video analytics systems often focus on detecting individual events rather than connecting them with broader operational performance.

The combined offering is designed to run reasoning-based video intelligence locally, allowing organizations to analyze camera feeds on-premises and at the edge.

Wobot.ai’s analytics technology is already deployed across industries including quick-service restaurants, retail, hospitality and manufacturing.

Its software is designed to analyze physical environments and provide insights related to areas such as service speed, customer experience, employee productivity, safety and process compliance.

By deploying those capabilities on SiMa.ai’s Modalix platform, customers can process video closer to where it is generated rather than transmitting all of the underlying footage to cloud-based infrastructure.

The on-site processing model can also help organizations address data privacy requirements in markets including Europe, Japan and Korea.

SiMa.ai offers Modalix in multiple form factors. The Modalix MLSoC PCIe Card is designed for systems using a host computer, while its System-on-Module option can be integrated into edge appliances.

The companies said those alternatives provide customers and solution providers with flexibility when developing video analytics systems for different physical environments.

SiMa.ai’s Palette Neat software environment will also support the partnership. Palette Neat is an agentic AI software environment developed specifically for Physical AI applications and is intended to simplify the integration and deployment of AI workloads.

The collaboration is aimed at helping customers move reasoning-based video analytics from pilot programs into larger production deployments.

Rather than simply identifying an event within a video stream, the companies are positioning reasoning-based analytics as a way to interpret what is happening and provide information that businesses can use to improve operational performance.

For retailers and quick-service restaurants, that could include analyzing customer experiences and service efficiency. Manufacturing and industrial organizations could use similar capabilities to assess process compliance or safety conditions.

The partnership expands SiMa.ai’s ecosystem of software providers, system integrators and solution providers as the company builds its Physical AI platform across applications where AI systems interact with or interpret real-world environments.

SiMa.ai is focused on Physical AI applications spanning robotics, automotive, drones, industrial automation, aerospace and defense, smart vision and healthcare.

The companies are demonstrating the joint technology at VISION 2026, being held October 6 through October 8 at Messe Stuttgart in Stuttgart, Germany.
