Simile Raises Over $200 Million In Series B At A $2 Billion Valuation

Simile, known as The Simulation Company, announced it has raised more than $200 million at a $2 billion post-money valuation. The round was led by Greenoaks. Index Ventures doubled down on its investment, alongside returning investors Hanabi, Bain Capital Ventures, A*, Factory, and CVS Health Ventures. Definition joined as a new investor.

Since launching five months ago, Simile said it has grown revenue fivefold. The company built a new foundation model for human behavior that has run tens of millions of simulations for Fortune 100 enterprises, and trained a confidence model that predicts the accuracy of every simulation. Simile also released a product it says lets organizations verifiably predict the future.

Simile has expanded from its original home in Palo Alto to a global team of more than 50 employees. The company said that with AI, anyone can now create a product, campaign, policy, or script, and that the bottleneck in decision-making has moved upstream, away from the question of whether something can be created and toward what to create, for whom, and how to bring it to life.

Simile said these are fundamentally human decisions that should not be left to chance or handed off to an algorithm. The company said it is building infrastructure to understand human behavior at scale and to represent humans in an increasingly agentic world, with a stated mission to simulate all eight billion people on earth, accurately and honestly.

Companies including CVS Health, Wealthfront, Deloitte, and Gallup have adopted Simile’s technology to strategize product launches, optimize customer experiences, and enter new markets. The company said it continues building a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and operators as it works toward that mission.
