As part of the transaction, founder August Velten has become a Simplicity Partner, and the registered investment advisory firm will soon rebrand as Simplicity Wealth Advisors: Melbourne.
The acquisition expands Simplicity’s presence in wealth management and highlights the firm’s focus on succession planning and advisor continuity. Velten & Associates has worked with Simplicity for several years, utilizing the company’s training, marketing and wealth management resources.
Founded as a family-owned financial practice, Velten & Associates provides wealth management and retirement planning services to individuals and couples across a range of economic backgrounds.
According to Simplicity, the transaction is designed to support the long-term growth of the Melbourne-based practice while providing clients with access to additional institutional resources, technology and product offerings.
Simplicity provides wealth accumulation and financial protection products to advisors, financial institutions and consumers. The company offers a range of tools and technologies through affiliation, outsourcing and partnership arrangements.
