Simplicity Group has acquired Mobile Bay Financial Solutions, an independent financial advisory company based in Mobile, Alabama.
Following the transaction, Mobile Bay will rebrand as Simplicity Wealth Advisors: Mobile Bay, while co-founders John McNeil and Virginia O’Brien will become partners in Simplicity.
The acquisition expands Simplicity’s wealth management footprint while giving Mobile Bay access to a broader range of planning tools, investment strategies, technology, and back-office resources.
Mobile Bay focuses on retirement planning and personalized financial advice for individuals and families.
The partnership is designed to preserve Mobile Bay’s local relationships and operating culture while using Simplicity’s national platform to reduce administrative work and broaden the financial planning capabilities available to clients.
Simplicity provides wealth accumulation and financial protection products and services to financial advisors, institutions, and consumers through affiliation, outsourcing, and partnership models.
