Simplicity Buys Wholehan Marketing And Adds Two New Partners

Simplicity Group announced it has acquired Wholehan Marketing, a general brokerage agency that offers a range of financial products across life insurance, annuities, disability income, long-term care, and advanced market support. Wholehan has offices in Tampa, Florida, and Toledo, Ohio.

The transaction continues Simplicity’s acquisition momentum and brings Wholehan leaders Chris Wholehan and Jessica Hernandez into the Simplicity partnership as the group’s newest partners. Simplicity said the deal expands its offerings and reach, while giving Wholehan’s advisors access to Simplicity’s platform, marketing engine, and broader product suite.

Wholehan Marketing said it supports advisor clients nationwide with a consultative approach to case design, product solutions, underwriting, and suitability guidance. The firm traces its history to 1987 and has served insurance agents, financial advisors, and registered representatives.

Simplicity positioned the acquisition as part of its approach to combining wealth accumulation and financial protection solutions within a holistic financial planning framework, offering tools and technologies that can be accessed through affiliation, outsourcing, or joining the partnership.
